2025 Mother's Day Sessions

Our annual Mother's Day Mini Session events are one of our favourites! And this year we're very excited about our beautiful set-ups.

We are offering 3 beautiful set-ups this year... A gorgeous bow inspired design, a brown monotone set and our arch is back!
Our Set ups have been released now on this page & social media! We absolutely love them!

Creating beautiful memories with our children is so important, which is why we love this mini session event so much! And we're excited about our set-ups this year.

PLEASE NOTE:

These sessions are available before Mother's Day, to ensure you have the images by Mother's Day.

Please note that some of the images on this page are of previous years set-ups. Please note THE 3 SET-ups for 2025 have now been released below, and on our social media.

These packages are designed for 1 x Mum and her children. Any additional female family members aren't included in the package price and will be charged extra. This needs to be advised at the time of booking.

A new set-up for this year, featuring brown tones. Think draped fabric, tall tables, vases and a comfortable ottoman, Pictured above

Set-Up 2

Our beautiful set-up from last year is back. Framed by a beautiful arch, natural colors and beautiful accents, with a few little adjustments.

Set-Up 3

Bows are big at the moment, so this set-up will be dusty pink with big bows! A brand new set-up for this year.

We are offering reels, as seen on our Instagram page, for Mother's Day.

Approx 20-30 second reels, with video footage and edited photos.

This is an add-on service, for R450.

Makeup Application

Once again, we're having our makeup artist on site to make you feel glam.

Professional makeup application, including lashes.

You understand that the Mini Sessions are limited. Your preferred date/time is not confirmed until payment is received. 50% non-refundable/non-transferable payment required within 24 hours of booking. You confirm that you will adhere to the timeslot and if you are late, this will effect your session. Your booking may not be able to be changed. If you are 10 minutes late, your session will be cancelled, with no refund. No refund on cancelled sessions. Pressing Submit will act as your electronic signature.

FAQ

Where is your studio located?

Due to security, we only disclose full address to booked clients. We are located in the Blairgowrie/Randburg area.

How many images do I receive?

Please check the packages above. Each package stipulates how many images you will receive.
We do not supply raw or unedited images.

I want to bring my family to the shoot.

Please note that these packages are designed for a MOTHER and her children only. Any additional female family members will incur an additional charge.

I want to wear 2 outfits on one set-up

Please see the descriptions of the packages: it describes how many looks/outfits are included in each package. Due to the time for each package, we do not allow additional outfits outside of what's stipulated.

How long is a mini session?

Mini sessions run for 15-60 minutes, depending on which package you have purchased.

Can I make changes to the set-ups?

Mini Sessions work so amazingly because the set-ups are created for the event. We do not allow personalisation of the set-ups.

How long will I wait to see my images?

We aim to provide a proof gallery within 5 working days of your session. A proof gallery in unedited images that you will select your images to be edited. If you package includes 12 images, you'll select the 12 you would like fully edited.

Does Kist Photography provide outfits?

No, unfortunately we do not provide outfits for these sessions. If you are looking for a particular look, please let us know and we may be able to recommend someone.

Can we take cell phone photos on the set-ups?

No. We do not allow the use of the cell phones on the set-ups. Please also don't try to take cell phone photos on unused sets.
